RECIPE
Apple Brie Dijon Burger
with Honey Ginger Dijon
A combination of crispy apples, creamy brie cheese, and a tangy honey ginger Dijon sauce will elevate an otherwise ordinary burger into something extraordinary. Vive la France!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Season pattie evenly with salt and pepper and place it on a grill or flat top at 350 F.
- Once the pattie begins to form juice pockets on the top (approximately 3 1/2 minutes), the burger is ready to flip. Do not press on the pattie, as it will release important juices and lead to a dry finished product.
- Once the pattie is almost done cooking, add the brie and let it melt and then top with apple slices.
- Place the pattie on the bun bottom and top it with honey ginger Dijon.
- Place top bun to finish the burger and secure it with a sandwich toothpick.
NOTE: Use pre-sliced brie or slice a brie wheel into quarters. Cut rectangular slices as thin as possible. Place parchment paper on a tray and spray with pan release. Lay down a layer of brie and spray the top with pan release. Repeat process in layers; set aside.
